Regal Cinema was a technological marvel of its time and a star of Bombay’s Art Deco era.

Built in 1933, this cinema hall was a destination; a celebration of the golden age of films and glamour in the city. It was the first cinema hall in Bombay to have air-conditioning and even provided an elevator to take its affluent patrons from their underground parking bay up to their plush balcony seats.
