Phulia is a prominent weaving cluster in West Bengal – a 3-hour drive north of Kolkata, towards the Bangladesh border.

Our relationship with Phulia began in 2014, when we visited communities who have been weaving for generations. It is here that our journey with handwoven saris began, and continues to evolve with our artisan collaborators.
